The terms governing your use of our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the RMC Parking website and online services, and the receipt and management of parking charges issued by RMC Business Solutions Ltd ("RMC Parking", "we", "us").
By using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
A parking charge is issued under the terms and conditions displayed on signage at the relevant car park. By entering and/or parking in a car park managed by RMC Parking, the driver and/or keeper of the vehicle agrees to be bound by those terms and conditions.
Parking charges are issued in accordance with the British Parking Association (BPA) Code of Practice. The charge represents a genuine pre-estimate of loss suffered by the landowner as a result of the parking contravention.
Payment of a parking charge must be made within 28 days of the date of issue to benefit from any applicable reduced charge. Failure to pay within the stated period may result in the charge escalating and the matter being referred to a debt collection agency.
Payment can be made via our online portal using the reference number shown on your parking charge. By making a payment, you accept the charge and the associated terms and conditions.
If you believe a parking charge was issued in error, you have the right to appeal. Appeals must be submitted within 28 days of the date of the parking charge. You can submit an appeal via our online portal using your parking charge reference number.
All appeals are reviewed by a trained assessor. If your appeal is unsuccessful at this stage, you have the right to appeal to POPLA (Parking on Private Land Appeals), an independent appeals service.
Submitting an appeal does not suspend the requirement to pay if the appeal is rejected. We recommend paying the reduced charge within the discount period if you are uncertain about the outcome of your appeal.
RMC Parking acts as agent for the landowner or car park operator. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles parked in managed car parks unless caused by our negligence.
